Yesterday was an amazing day for USA. From beginning to end our team put down solid efforts on all fronts. I truly believe it's a testimony to the will in our team and how we can dig deep together when it matters most.
Placing 3rd yesterday gave both Taylor and I our first World Championship medals, and it adds to Bill and Todd's collection. Our team is putting together great performances and for that I have to thank our coaches, staff, and my friends, family, and teammates. It's a very close knit community we have in the nordic world. Perhaps thats is what makes days like that so special.
I have to give a big shout out to USANA, for their vitamins and nutritionals. They truly are the best in the world and I think that my performance the last couple days reflects that. I have to thank Madshus, they have provided me with the tools (skis boots and Poles) necessary to perform at such a high level! As well as a big thank you to HoneyStinger, Fast Big Dog Racing, StacheTATS, Elan Jump Skis, Polar HR Monitors, Space Station Gas, and everyone else who has helped over the years. Cheers!
Next up we have the individual on the large hill followed by the team sprint event on Saturday. So the work continues in hopes of coming away with another shot at a medal!
