Jumping Farther, Skiing Faster
Yesterday was our first individual comp in Seefeld. I had some good moments and some challenging moments. Thats everyday racing for ya though. I jumped to 14th place, and went into the cross country 1:32 seconds behind Jason-Lamy Chappuis. I didn't have the legs I was hoping for throughout the race, combine that with two falls and it was hard to move up. I ended up 28th place. I am happy to stay in the top 30. My goal for the season was consistent top 30 results. And I am doing just that. So From here I am going into today's competition with the same goals. I am going to put together another good jump and see if I cant get it together on the course for a little better finish. Today is going to be another tough condition day. Since it was so warm here the past week, and it turned to cold the course is hard enough to skate with ice skates. Lets hope the course is not as relentless today as it was yesterday!
